Teachers and their Classrooms
Teachers and their Classrooms

Help us continue to recruit and retain the best Catholic educators for our youth. This might include generously covering the salary of a new teacher, a teacher’s aide, school counselor, tuition for the children of teachers, or resources for a classroom. This helps re-direct that cost back into the school’s operations and frees up funding for the school's other areas.

You could also sponsor items that will help create a warm, inviting, and inspiring educational environment for students. So often, teachers front these costs out of their own personal budget. Your help allows us to provide benefits and support to teachers who truly take this job and make it their vocation.

This fund will help provide teachers with extra school supplies, artwork, educational décor, posters, books, beanbags, rugs for a reading corner, subscriptions for educational materials, gift cards and more for teacher supply stores.

After selecting a gift amount to the right, you will see a drop-down menu where you can choose for your gift to go to a specific school or to wherever the greatest need may be.

Gift Ideas:

  • Extra school supplies: $100
  • Educational décor: $200
  • A bookshelf full of books: $250
  • Give toward a classroom’s reading corner: $350
  • Sponsor the above for one teacher/classroom: $900
  • Start support fund for teachers at one school: $5,000
  • A gift toward teacher recruitment and retention fund: $10,000

Catholic Education

A gift toward Catholic schools and education means giving children who live in southeast Michigan access to an excellent education rooted in faith, preparing our generations to come for servant leadership. It means forming virtuous disciples who build up the kingdom of God and witness to Christ for more faithful, joyful lives.

Your generosity reaches teachers, students, those going through catechism or becoming Catholic, and families from all over the Archdiocese. Our goals are to ensure vitality of our schools and Catholic education, and to make an excellent education accessible to all families and children. You can help make this mission a reality.
