For decades, CYO Catholic Youth Camps have created life-long memories for campers, counselors, and families on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. In 2020, our camps were abruptly closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and remained closed in 2021. Since then, it has become apparent that after almost 70 years of operation, CYO Camps are in desperate need of repair and updating.
Beginning in early 2023, CYO Camp facilities will undergo a major renovation and eventually re-launch our camp with a renewed energy and spirit of our Catholic faith. This renovation will be expensive and will take some time, but we know Catholic Youth Camps play an important role in helping our kids find Christ in their everyday life.

The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) enriches families and strengthens communities across southeast Michigan through youth-centered faith-based programs that help our kids find Christ in their everyday life.
CYO believes positive boys and girls grow into strong Christian leaders who build healthy communities. We continue to respond to the changing needs of our youth and the communities in which they live. Over the years, our programs have evolved into three key areas: Athletic programs at our Diocesan Schools and Parishes, Spiritual Scouting, and our Summer Youth Camps.
