The Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) is a charitable organization and ministry of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
CFCS provides cemetery and funeral services as well as educational outreach to parishes and caregiver organizations.
Their mission is to provide guidance and wisdom on end-of-life services. While there are costs associated with their services, they are also committed as a charity to offer innovative programs to meet the needs of our entire faith community. CFCS offers pastoral care for bereaved families, the All Souls Remembrance program for persons of any faith at no charge, and the Mother Teresa Program which ensures those in need in our community receive sacred and dignified cemetery services. There are also many remembrance Masses which occur at each of the six CFCS cemeteries to support the bereaved.
Supporting CFCS helps allow them to continue their charitable programs described above and also helps keep our six Catholic cemeteries beautiful, peaceful, and sacred.
